Meet Our Nurse Practitioner
My name is Jennifer Shade and I have been a certified nurse practitioner since 2020. My healthcare career began when I was 16 years old, when I got my first job as a nursing assistant in a long term care facility. I obtained my associates degree to become a registered nurse in 2010; in 2013 I completed my bachelor’s degree. I have worked in various areas as a registered nurse, including emergency and radiology. I have also worked as a clinical instructor for the local community college, teaching students in the nursing assistant and registered nurse programs.
In 2017 I returned to school to obtain my masters degree. I completed this program in 2019 and received my nurse practitioner license in 2020.
In 2022 I completed advanced training and certification for cosmetic injections at a leading institute in Scottsdale, AZ.
Since completing my injectable training in 2022, I have dedicated myself to providing safe, effective, and personalized aesthetic care. My goal with every patient encounter is to ensure a comfortable, relaxed, and reassuring experience—where each individual feels heard, supported, and confident in their treatment plan.
Rooted in a holistic approach to medicine, I believe that true beauty and wellness come from addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of health. Injector Mentorship for Medical Professionals
At A New Shade of Beauty, we offer a mentorship and shadowing program designed exclusively for licensed medical professionals—such as RNs, NPs, PAs, and physicians—who have completed their initial aesthetic injectable training and are looking to further develop their clinical confidence, injection technique, and patient communication skills.
This mentorship provides a behind-the-scenes look at real patient treatments in a high-volume aesthetic practice. Participants will observe consultations, assessment techniques, product selection, and advanced treatment planning, while learning about safety protocols, facial anatomy, and complication prevention.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice—helping new injectors refine their artistry, understand clinical decision-making, and gain confidence in patient flow, charting, photography, and aftercare discussions.
