Meet Our Nurse Practitioner
My name is Jennifer Shade and I have been a certified nurse practitioner since 2020. My healthcare career began when I was 16 years old, when I got my first job as a nursing assistant in a long term care facility. I obtained my associates degree to become a registered nurse in 2010; in 2013 I completed my bachelor’s degree. I have worked in various areas as a registered nurse, including emergency and radiology. I have also worked as a clinical instructor for the local community college, teaching students in the nursing assistant and registered nurse programs.
In 2017 I returned to school to obtain my masters degree. I completed this program in 2019 and received my nurse practitioner license in 2020.
In 2022 I completed advanced training and certification for cosmetic injections at a leading institute in Scottsdale, AZ.
While I am new to this field, my extensive experience in healthcare has lead me to develop great assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as confidence and competence in any procedure I am performing . I am well versed in standard infection control processes and sterile technique. I am calm and can identify and manage potential complications. My goal is always to make sure that patients in my care are relaxed, comfortable, and safe.
Holistic care has always been a part of my general practice. I want to help my patients feel their best physically and emotionally.
I am offering neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, Jueveau, and Xeomin. I also offer dermal and lip fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane products. Recently we have added medical grade chemical peels, IV hydration, and Kybella fat dissolving.
